Denmead Art Exhibition is an annual exhibition organised and run by All Saints’ Church Denmead, and is usually held around the end of September each year. The dates for 2022 will be 24th and 25th September. The venue for the show is the Church Hall, All Saints Church, Denmead, Waterlooville, Hampshire, PO7 6NN.
Our policy is to welcome work from anyone who may wish to submit some – there is no assessment or selection process.
How to submit your work:
An entry form is available to download from this site, and a copy will also be sent out to all our regular exhibitors during July 2022.

Each Artist may submit up to 10 works, comprising the following:
- Up to 4 works for hanging. All these must have cord or wire for hanging. PLEASE NOTE – different hanging fees for pictures larger than 24” height or width. Maximum size 48” in either dimension. Hanging fee £2.40 each, large £3.50.
- Up to 4 Miniatures. Maximum size (including frame) will be 7” x 5”. All these must have cord or wire for hanging. Hanging fee £1.20 each.
- Up to 2 Unframed pictures, to be entered in our portfolio racks. We recommend that these should be mounted on mounting board and securely covered with cellophane. Entry fee £1.20 each.
All exhibits must be for sale, and must be completely the artist’s own work.
Items not permitted:
- Brass rubbings, and other forms of craft.
If the artist wishes to submit a print of their own work this must be stated as the medium. It is the responsibility of the artist to ensure that work copied directly from other sources is not submitted unless permission has been obtained and acknowledgements displayed in the title.
Please ensure that all entries are clearly labelled on the back with:
- Artist’s name
- Selling price
- (optional) Artist’s address / website address etc
All the framed exhibits and miniatures must have the appropriate secure cord or wire for hanging.
Submitting Entries: List on the entry form the works you wish to submit, giving titles, the media used and the prices to be asked. In the event that we are over-subscribed the organisers reserve the right to limit each artist to a smaller number of entries.
An Entry Form will be available to download from this site from around the end of June onwards, and regular exhibitors who are on our mailing list will be sent a form.
The completed entry form and hanging fee should be sent by post to the address on the form. These must arrive no later than Saturday 27th August 2022.
Please make cheques payable to ALL SAINTS’ CHURCH DENMEAD.
Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope with your submission, for us to send payment after the exhibition for any works sold. We do not send out confirmation of receipt of entry forms unless you specifically request this, in which case please provide an email address or an additional s.a.e.
Delivery of Exhibits: Please deliver the exhibits to the Church Hall between 4.30pm and 6.30pm on Friday 23rd September.
Display of Exhibits. The set-up and display of the exhibition is carried out by the organisers and their team, and we do not group artists’ work together in one location except in the case of miniatures which may be displayed in sets if appropriate.
Collection of Unsold Exhibits: All unsold exhibits must be collected from the Church Hall on Sunday 25th September after 4.45pm. To minimise queues, each artist will be given a specific time window for collection. Please check the receipt (supplied when the exhibits are delivered on Friday) for your collection time, and bring the receipt with you.
Safety of Exhibits: No responsibility will be taken for loss of, or damage to, exhibits – but as in previous years great care will be taken and an all night watch will be kept on the hall.
Commission: A 20% commission will be taken on all sales.
